Clicky Group is a group of two marketing agencies - Clicky, which focuses on digital marketing; and Uplift, which focuses on web development and CRO. They deliver ‘a more human digital experience’, so you can imagine when working across HQ and hybrid, the technology - and the network it relies on - can’t get in the way of a seamless connection.
Clicky Group employs around 50 people, and when looking to open a new office in Manchester, they found the perfect home in The Hive. Not least thanks to the internet access available.

So what did that mean for Clicky Group?
The challenge
As an agency that relies heavily on huge amounts of data to plan, produce and share the gorgeous websites, campaigns and content Clicky Group creates, the business faced a couple of challenges in getting connected as quickly and reliably as they needed to be.
Connected in days: Clicky Group needed the new office connected straight away and having previously had installation issues with other suppliers, needed the new office online fast.
Best-in-class connection: Clicky Group needed a connection that was fast, secure, reliable, and set to scale with the business.
The solution
For Clicky Group, we rapidly activated our 1Gbps Preconnect® DIA (Dedicated Internet Access). Full fibre infrastructure was already installed throughout the backbone of The Hive, with distribution points on each floor, so it was simply a case of bringing Clicky Group’s suite online.
Within our Preconnect® buildings, a wayleave is already agreed, meaning Telcom already has access rights to install the necessary hardware. This in itself removes a huge chunk of the waiting time you’d expect from other ISPs. With this master wayleave in place, we can get tenants connected through Preconnect® in as little as 24 hours.
Preconnect® brings hyperfast internet connectivity with symmetrical speeds up to 10Gbps. While primary access is delivered through full fibre, in our six HyperCities, we can also offer diverse connections in the form of rooftop wireless, meaning an AlwaysOn, 100% uptime SLA.
