Business costs and inflation are at an all-time high, with the UK’s RPI (retail prices index) rate expected to rise to 9.8% this year. Nonetheless, even after this incredibly challenging period, our passion and love for what we do and our ethos to maintain a customer obsession has not dwindled.

As a consequence of the pandemic users are consuming more data and bandwidth than ever before. There is now a far greater reliance on ultrafast, ultra-reliable connectivity compared to pre-pandemic times, with some reports suggesting Covid-19 pushed up internet usage by 70%. Here at Telcom we were in the privileged position to be able to support businesses who found themselves working in completely new ways. It has been a joy to see these changes mature and succeed and we genuinely appreciate all of the support from our customers.

This increased reliance on connectivity has unfortunately led to increased costs from our upstream providers and partners. However, as most of you are aware, we exist to challenge the BT’s and Virgin’s of this world by building our own infrastructure and it’s because of this that we’ve been able to control the majority of our operating costs.

Today we’re committed to a price freeze for the next 12 months

Over the last 12 months consumers and businesses have been bombarded with increased living and operating costs. Even after the largest single-year inflation rate in our lifetime, we have taken the easy decision to freeze our prices for the next 12 months, for the 7th consecutive year.

If you are an existing customer, currently out of contract and wanting to lock in your pricing, or if you’d like to explore how our team can help reduce telecoms costs in your business, please contact 03301 222 970 or email us at [email protected]

On behalf of the whole team at Telcom, thank you for your continued support.
