At Telcom, thinking differently is at the very core of who we are. We’re always on the lookout for new ideas and as a crucial part of that, we’re always keen to support and inspire the next generation of talented digital innovators.
This year we’ll be supporting the Manchester (Central) Youth Hack #4. The hackathon will be on the 8th and 9th of April, teams of 13 to 17 year olds can come and code, or learn to code, solutions to real problems with the help of expert mentors as well as competing for prizes! Up for grabs this time is:
- 2 x Vouchers for Indoor Sky Diving Experience
- 2 x Vouchers - Full Day Paintballing for Two
Onto the challenge we’re providing - We’ve seen the benefit of ultrafast connectivity, but as teams grow quickly to multiple offices and locations, this can create delays, problems and mis-communications within the business, so here’s our challenge:
“How can we use technology to make the modern, connected office more productive whilst having more fun?”
What does this mean? It’s up to you! Perhaps it’s a game people can play at their desks, or a clever way to collaborate….Or you can go entirely left-field, like a toaster that sell’s it’s self if you don’t use it, or a cardie that connects to facebook!?
A few of our team will be on-hand over the weekend.
