Christmas has come early for Manchester for this year. To coincide with Manchester City Council’s Christmas lights switch on in Albert Square, we are excited to introduce you to a little project that we’ve been planning and implementing for the last 3 months.
Telcom Unity is a SuperFast Free Wi-Fi network we’re launching in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. As a member of the community it’s incredibly important to us that we support our local community and give back. Telcom Unity in the NQ is our first of what we hope to be many community support projects we not only look to launch in Manchester but across the UK.
Telcom Unity wouldn't be possible without our partners who agree to participate in and host the network. Our Telcom Unity partners or family as we prefer to consider them is made up of venues we see as North Quarter institutions and those that play an important part in what makes the NQ so special. A big thank you to the initial batch of participating venue, these being Takk, El Capo, Lammars, Crown & Anchor, Nicky Oliver and 21 Below. We will be adding to the network weekly so keep an eye out for more great Telcom Unity venues coming online.
